First English Recitation Contest of Liu Shi Qi Tai Nong chang high School is in full swing .
漫卷诗书如微风拂面，浅诵低吟赏几度冬。选手们的参赛作品选材丰富，有励志诗歌，也有精美散文，更有趣味故事等。他们或轻柔舒缓，亦或慷慨激昂；他们清晰的发音，优美的语音语调，娴熟的口语表达，展现出对英语学习的热爱与执着。比赛现场气氛热烈，高潮迭起，选手们精彩的表现赢得了全场师生的阵阵掌声。让我们来一睹他们的风采。
We can feel the breeze blowing from the beauty of literature while stepping into the world built by books and poetry, we can experience the past and future by appreciating just several scrolls of classics. The competitors’ works range from inspirational poems, exquisite essays to interesting stories. Some of them were gentle; Some of them were passionate.
Their clear pronunciation，beautiful intonation and fluent oral expression show their love and dedication to English learning.The atmosphere of the Contest was warm, with climaxes coming one after another. The wonderful performances of these competitors won the applause of all the judges and audiences.Let's take a look at them.
本届主持人是来自高二年级的两位同学，他们以出彩的综合能力从众多的报名者中脱颖而出。两位主持人以大气的台风和一口流利的英语全程主持比赛，可谓初生牛犊不怕虎，英雄出少年。
The hosts of this Contest were twostudents from senior two students from high school, who stood out from the crowd of applicants with their outstanding abilities in English.They presided over the Contest with wonderful stage presences and fluent English.They were the very representatives of the young generations.
激烈争锋后，评委们认真地打分，精确地统计。最终决出一等奖一名，二等奖三名，以及三等奖四名。老师们宣布了获奖名单，并颁发奖状以资鼓励。
After a fierce deabate, the judges were giving and counting the scores carefully and fairly. And this competition is decided at one first prize, three second prize and four third prize.Theteachers announce the winners and each of them are awarded with a certificate of accomplishment.
本次朗诵比赛充分展现了英语朗诵的魅力，营造了浓厚的英语氛围，也丰富了校园文化生活，激发了学生学习英语的兴趣，给了他们一个展示自我的平台，检阅了他们的英语语言表达能力以及重视英语朗诵和口语的能力；更展示了我校学子们的风采与自信。最后感谢为这次活动顺利举办而辛勤付出的领导、老师和同学们！
The Recitation Contest not only
fully demonstrated the charm of
English, the confidences and talents of our students, but also created a
strong English learning atmosphere as well as enriching the cultural life
of the campus. It also aroused their
interests to learn English, provided
students an opportunity to show themselves, and tested their English expression ability. Finally, thank you to all the leaders, teachers and students who worked so hard for the success of this event.
比赛落幕，成长继续，学习永无止境。但愿莘莘学子们在今后的学习之路上“不饶岁月而耕耘，不负汗水而酬勤”。
Though the Contest has come toan end, growth and learning never ends. May all the students spare no efforts in struggling for their future.
