绘本,也称图画书，是绘画和语言相结合的一种特殊的儿童文学形式。英语中绘本称“Picture Book”，意为会说话的书籍，它是用一幅幅精美的图片讲述看似简单的故事，温润美好，意味深长。
Picture book, is a special form of children's literature that combines painting and language. In English, picture book is translated as a talking book. It tells deceptively simple stories in beautiful pictures that are warm, beautiful and meaningful.
英语绘本创作
为了进一步激发学生阅读英语绘本的兴趣，创设英语学习的氛围，提高学生的英语综合运用能力，我校组织了高年级英文绘本创作大赛。孩子们踊跃参加，精心制作了一本本英文绘本。精致优美的绘画，简练的语言，工整的书写，给全校师生带来了一场视觉的英语盛宴。让我们一起去瞧瞧吧！Let’s go!

评比颁奖
经过学校领导及英语组老师们公平、公正、公开的评选，评选出一等奖29名，二等奖21名。10月30日上午，杜书记、方校长等校级领导对获得一、二等奖的学生进行了现场颁奖。
孩子们通过自己所想，所知，所感，用自己手中的画笔向大家呈现了精彩的故事。希望通过本次活动，更多的孩子能爱上英语绘本制作，提高对英语学习的兴趣，养成爱阅读，爱思考的良好学习习惯，更希望孩子们一直保存这份童真和梦幻的心，对世界充满爱!
Children show many wonderful stories to us with their own painting brushes, their own thinking , knowing and feelings. We hope that such activity can help them to love making English picture books, improve their interest of English learning, and develop a good learning habit.We also hope that they always keep their childlike , dreaming heart and love the world forever.
