为丰富校园文化生活，活跃校园学习气氛，增强英语学习的兴趣与自信，树立国际视野，提升文化意识、厚植爱国主义情怀、坚定文化自信。10月26日下午，我校举行了“用英语讲中国故事”主题演讲比赛。当传统文化与英语学习相融合，会带来怎样的美妙感受，会碰撞出怎样的火花呢？In order to enrich campus cultural life, enliven the campus learning atmosphere, enhance interest and self-confidence in English learning, establish an international vision, enhance cultural awareness and strengthen cultural self-confidence.On October 26th,our school held a speech contest of "Telling Chinese Stories in English". When traditional culture and English learning are integrated, what wonderful feelings will it bring and what kind of sparks will collide?

此次比赛，在老师们的精心准备下，选手们在台上精神抖擞、神采奕奕，用流利的英语和丰富的肢体语言演绎了一个又一个生动又富有哲理性的中国故事，他们讲述的中国故事，既有愚公移山，后羿射日，曹冲称象……等神话故事，智慧故事，远古英雄的故事，还有中国传统节日、传统文化等。In this competition, the contestants were energetic on the stage, interpreting one vivid and philosophical Chinese story after another with fluent English and rich body language. The Chinese stories they told include A foolish old man and the two huge mountains, Houyi, a Hero shooting the sun, Cao Chong and the elephant … and other mythical and wisdom stories, as well as traditional Chinese festivals and traditional culture,etc.
看，台下的观众们听的多认真呢，深怕错过哪个有趣的故事。The audience under the stands listened so seriously that they were afraid of missing any interesting stories.

同学们热情高涨，给我们带来了许多精彩的瞬间，经过激烈的角逐和评委老师们的认真评选，每位参赛的同学们都获得了嘉奖！Every student participated in the activity with hight enthusiasm and brought us many wonderful memories and performances.After careful selection by the judges,every student who take part in the competition was rewarded.
这次活动，仿佛为学生开启了一扇大门，透过这扇门，学生找到了学习英语的快乐和兴趣；透过这扇门，学生看到了两种文化的碰撞；透过这扇门，学生体验了祖国文化的深沉厚重。让传统文化和英语学习相结合，这既是开启学习的乐趣，亦是收获文化的碰撞。This activity seems to open a door for the students.Through this door, the students find the joy and interest of learning English. Through this door, the students see the collision of the two cultures. Through this door, the students experience the depth of the culture of the motherland. Combining traditional culture with English learning is not only the fun of learning, but also the collision of culture.
