Nature Walk:
We had an amazing time exploring natural blossom trees, mud,plants and buildings around our kindergarten. Nature walks helps children to appreciate and respect the nature around them.
North America trip scenario:
The students were challenged with choosing a destination and plane to fly to a different part of North America. The class would ask a student “Where are you going?”, the student would need to pilot the chosen plane to the correct place e.g “I am going to the United States/Canada/Mexico.
Character education - “I am patient, I can tidy up”:
The students were challenged with being patient through a small roleplay. The students would come to the front of the class and act out the dialogue “Are you patient?”, “I am patient, I tidy up.” Then the rest of the class would give feedback saying “You are patient, well done.”
Phonics little group:
The students have been reviewing A,B,C,D sounds along with spelling out words that begin with this. We focused on learning E,F,G,H this week along with spelling out the related guess who flash card topics.
Phonics big group:
The students have been reviewing A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K sounds along with spelling out words that begin with this. We focused on learning L,M,N,O this week along with spelling out the related guess who flash card topics.
Science - Internal organs:The students have been learning about the internal body and what is inside of the body. The students were then later asked to remove said parts from the mannequin to present to the rest of class.
Art class
Outdoor Activities: Football.
Football is a playful sport with numerous benefits that contribute to the general well-being and development of the child. It also promotes foot/eye coordination and physical fitness as they will be dribbling/controlling the movement of the ball.
