Last Friday afternoon September 8th witnessed a successful and exciting activity of English Corner held at the office of ICU of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University. This is the frist time the group has carried out activities, and there were ten nurses participate in this.
On the top of list ,Wang Xin , who is the head nurse,led us to study English literature which named Which Frequency Be Chosen for the Prophylaxis of Deep Vein Thrombosis. The paper content includes introduction, methods, results and conclusions.
Then cam the merriest time when the dialogues of patients' admission scene has designed by Liu Huan. We communicate in English act as patients or nurses.
English Corner serves as a precious opportunity to expand nurses' horizons and raise their interest of oral English. It's expected that more offline and online relevant activities are to be held regularly. And in the future, English learning styles are more diverse with the help of media, wechat, drama, etc.
