During this summer vacation, I've read many foreign publications about international news， sport, technology, art, psychology and so on.
To my surprise, I noticed that in some magazines, there're articles about Chinese traditional culture. For example, one of them talks about Biang Biang noodles, which is a nonmaternal cultural heritage in Xi’an with an amusing name. Not only has these kinds of articles spread Chinese culture all over the world, but also show the international perspective and the spirit of embracing all the rivers.
On another hand, many hot technologies nowadays are introduced detailedly in the magazines. I’m interested in the concept of Metaverse. In the pages, by imagining the digital life in the future, we both feel the advantage of virtual space vividly and the problems that may happen to people's mental health. I'm looking forward to the future full of high technology.
While reading, I also learned many professional explanations to the phenomenon in our daily life. It makes me realize the importance of walking, the relationship between art and life, etc. I can not only learn English better by reading magazines, but also learn lots of interesting knowledge.
