“纸上得来终觉浅,绝知此事要躬行。”同学们寻找身边的材料,自己制作了一个1升的量器,并标出1/4升、2/4升、3/4升,再次对容量的大小有了更加直观的感知。接下来,同学们寻找生活中各种容器,先估一估他们的容量,再用自己制作的量器进行测量,看自己的预估与实际相差了多少,在这个过程中学生对“量”的大小感觉越来越好。
