‍full of hope, vitality and vigour. It was 

‍featured with the expectation of sports 

‍enthusiasts and multicultural activities. 

‍It was the coexistence of 

‍emotion and hope.

Athletes run to the stadium with glory 

‍and joy, embracing the charm of hard 

‍work and challenges born on the field. 

‍Starting with this event poster, 

‍an exciting journey begins

Let's follow the camera going into 

‍Eagle Stadium and build our ping-pong 

‍dream together.

These balloon 🎈 printed with the 

‍words " International Amateur Table 

‍Tennis Melbourne Cup” symbolizes the 

‍wishes of more than 300 athletes 

‍from more than 10 countries and 

‍regions in this tournament. Let them 

‍go of the beautiful vision and pursue 

‍the glory of the table tennis world.

Trophies were shining in the light, 

‍representing the achievements 

‍endowed with eternal value.

The Event Organizing Committee 

‍decorated the table tennis event with 

‍these trophies as rewards to sway the 

‍romance of this table tennis event.

These incentives tell us that stepping 

‍on the table tennis arena is a choice 

‍and participation in the competitions 

‍is a kind of courage.   Dare to challenge 

‍yourself and your opponents is a kind 

‍of success. 

In order to ensure the smooth progress 

‍of the opening ceremony and achieve 

‍the expected goals, the three organizers 

‍were working together to supervise 

‍the implementation of the agenda 

‍details of the opening ceremony.

The chief referee sit on the command 

‍platform of the event. The on-site 

‍commander guards the communication 

‍and supporting system of the event。

The event staff and volunteers, 

‍check-in team and referees were ready

‍ to provide warm and thoughtful 

‍services for all participating athletes.

In order to be in line with international 

‍event standards, the "back sticker" 

‍with athlete’s name was adopted and 

‍ensured that athletes enter their 

‍assigned event correctly.

The opening ceremony began with the singing of the Australian national anthem and the anthem of the Australia Table Tennis & Badminton Sports Association (ATTBA).

The opening ceremony presented us 

‍with several multicultural programs.

Music and dance performances:

1. The Spring Arts Ensemble ‍performed 

‍the following tunes:

‍ "March of Old Friends" 

‍and Waltz No. 2;

‍2. Melbourne Edelweiss Choir brought 

‍the song "Me and You" to the theme 

‍song of the 2008 Beijing 

‍Olympic Games.

3. Point Cook Seniars Group 

‍performed South India folk dances.

The Huayun Art Troupe Children's 

‍Class of Wyndham Asian Business 

‍Association performed a ballet 

‍"Carmen". The little elves are like 

‍budding buds dancing to the 

‍beautiful music.

The children's beautiful dancing 

‍performance won the praise and 

‍applause of the audience. Their 

‍colorful costumes further enriched 

‍the audience’s visual effect. Like a 

‍flowing sculpture, their excellent 

‍performance fully demonstrated 

‍the unique charm of ballet.

‍stimulated the enthusiasm and 

‍participation of the audience,

The kick-off ceremony was full of 

‍solemn and warm atmosphere. It is 

‍not only a signal of the start of the 

‍game, but also a manifestation of 

‍tradition and culture, and at the 

‍same time shows everyone the 

‍unique charm of the sport.

The interaction between the junior 

‍athletes and the Mayor of Wyndham, 

‍Cr Dr Jennie Barrera, witnessed 

‍this heart-warming and unforgettable 

‍moment.

The warm moment turned into the 

‍goal in the heart of this 7-year-old 

‍athlete, the small ball was crossing 

‍the table again and again, and then 

‍arousing his enthusiasm once by once.

The intermingling of effort and love 

‍often brings out 

‍the most touching melodies. 

Former Australia national team 

‍member and five-time Australian 

‍champion Ms Zhai Lan kicked 

‍off the tournament.

The chief referee of the event announced the official start of the 2024 International Amateur Table Tennis Melbourne Cup.

Although he has a disability, he has a deep inner perseverance. His perseverance and unremitting efforts make his life colorful and full of vitality.

His experience tells us that as long as we have love in our hearts, we can create extraordinary things in the ordinary.

In the competition, he fought 

‍tenaciously and won wonderful 

‍moments for himself 

‍with practical actions.

‍

He made the most of his serve and 

‍blocked left and right. The small 

‍balls shuttle on the table like a 

‍lightning speed, forming a 

‍meteor-like scene line.

Men's Singles: Forehand smash, 

‍fast and smooth, chic action, 

‍violent smash opponent.

Men's Singles: Serve high and attack successfully.

Men's Singles: Every point scored is 

‍a combination of speed, reflexes, 

‍skills and intelligence.

 Team Competition

Men's doubles require team spirit, 

‍and the tacit understanding and 

‍cooperation of the players. 

In this men's doubles match, the 

‍father and his 7-year-old son as 

‍one team was playing against 

‍the other paired-players. It was 

‍destined to be a wonderful show.

In the team competitions, there was 

‍a team of veterans. They were calm 

‍and confident, dare to fight, and 

‍fully embodied the spirit of veterans.

‍

Team Competitions:

This was an interesting match 

‍in which a teenage athlete played 

‍against a 70-year-old athlete. 

‍They looked at each other and 

‍said in their heart, that victory 

‍would be at my hand.

Regardless of sweat, they put their 

‍full attention into the game. From 

‍beginning to end, they moved 

‍quickly, attacked and defended freely,

‍ and tried their best towards their goal 

‍with wits and courage.

Although I'm not an athlete, I wish 

‍I could become a table tennis expert. 

‍Because my grandfather liked 

‍to play table tennis, I liked it too.

Today I am here to show my buddies 

‍how to use this table tennis training 

‍equipment.

Today, I am here to demonstrate 

‍how to use this ping pong training 

‍tool for my grandparents, uncles 

‍and aunts, sisters and brothers on 

‍the field. Please take care of me,

Hayden Chen is a 7-year-old athlete. 

‍His name has gone beyond being 

‍a mere athlete and has become 

‍a symbol of the spirit and pursuit 

‍of table tennis.

During the game, he once fell behind 

‍and cried sadly in his mother's arms. 

‍After a slight adjustment, he picked 

‍himself up, wiped away his tears, 

‍and continued to swing his racket.

In the end, he won the runner-up 

‍in the 7-10 age group, which fully 

‍demonstrates his strength to pursue 

‍his dreams without fear of challenges.

He has competed in many major 

‍competitions, and his track records 

‍are still fresh in our mind. Despite 

‍his disability, he is a true powerhouse 

‍who is never afraid of challenges.

A female player from China, her 

‍unique atmosphere and humility 

‍once again proved her extraordinary 

‍charm of "The Return of the King".

He has mastered powerful service 

‍skills. This ball was destined to 

‍have an extraordinary effect.

He kept his eyes on the ball 

‍and fought back.

He put down his body to a wright 

‍position and powerfully looped the 

‍ball with a strong stroke.

He looked directly at the ball and 

‍admonished himself: Be calm, steady, 

‍accurate and ruthless, and 

‍win with one blow. 

He first returned the ball with 

‍poking skills, overcoming rigidity 

‍with softness, and then took the 

‍opportunity to bounce backhand.

He leaned sideways, his knee 

‍slightly bent and threw a high toss 

‍up with his left hand. When the 

‍ball reached a high point and began 

‍to slide down, he made a chopping 

‍feint...... and then he sent a reverse 

‍side spin ball.

During the competition, he always 

‍maintained a high level of alertness 

‍and agility, caught the change of 

‍the opponent's serve, and reacted 

‍quickly to create miracles by surprise.

He kept his eyes on the ball, turned 

‍sideways, tucked his abdomen, and 

‍turned around to send a backhand 

‍sidespin ball, all in one go.

In the competition, he was always 

‍highly alert and agile, able to catch 

‍changes in opponents' serves at any 

‍time and reacted quickly.

In the game, he showed his strength 

‍and skill in a way that made it 

‍impossible to beat him easily.

Every game he played, he looked 

‍effortless, but in reality, he's a master 

‍of ball controller. He hit every ball 

‍with great precision.

At this time, he aimed at the table 

‍tennis ball, flicked it back by 

‍playing from the backhand. 

In his eyes, table tennis no longer 

‍seems to be a sport, but a part of 

‍his life, depicting every ball 

‍with his heart, so that each ball 

‍has become a mark of his life journey.

With a high level of concentration 

‍and quick reaction, he was able to 

‍tackle a variety of challenges with ease.

His eyes are focused, his footwork 

‍is flexible, he squatted down to lead 

‍the shot and looped the ball towards 

‍his opponent with steady accuracy. 

‍His speed and difficult movements 

‍are as incredible as a genius.

He bent down and turned sideways 

‍and unleashed a beautiful downspin 

‍ball in one turn. 

Aimed at the opponent's weakness, 

‍served and attacked, and hit the 

‍key points to score.

Her calm swing seems to be 

‍a wonderful conversation between 

‍her and the years.

Her participation in the event is 

‍not only a narrative of a girl's 

‍brilliant achievements, but also 

‍a warm chapter of her dreams,

‍ perseverance and gratitude.

Intertwined with sweat and joy, 

‍and wisdom and strength collide, 

‍she completed a nice counteroffensive. 

On the table tennis stage, she is 

‍not only an athlete, but also a warrior.

‍true strength and courage are.

She was wearing a crisp blue 

‍sportswear, wielding her racket 

‍flexibly, her eyes focused on 

‍the beating silver ball, stepping up 

‍to rub the ball, pulling sideways 

‍to attack, and hitting a winning 

‍good ball. Her action was smooth 

‍full of youthful vitality.

In her hands, the racket becomes 

‍a work of art, and each ball was 

‍captured and utilized to the extreme.

Calmly soothing the ball in her 

‍hand, she jumped lightly and 

‍delivered a powerful service.

‍

The two 7-year-old athletes were 

‍competing for the championship 

‍and runner-up extremely fiercely. 

‍Their every serve and every 

‍counterattack made people's hearts 

‍beat faster, nervous and exciting.

They looked at each other across 

‍the net, and planned their own 

‍strategies in their hearts.

One took a deep breath and pretended 

‍to calm the turbulent heartbeat. 

‍The other racked his brains to conceive 

‍his tactics.

During the event, the smiles of the 

‍referees were also the most beautiful 

‍scenery.  They showed their meticulous 

‍demeanor in their respective 

‍referee seats.

The scoreboard in the hands of 

‍the referees is not simply a number, 

‍but a record of the athletes' journey 

‍and table tennis spirit in each game.

The referees are the best spectators.

With the expectations and love of 

‍their families, these child athletes 

‍with childish smiling faces came 

‍to experience, practice, learn and 

‍pursuit their dreams.

The young athletes gathered together,

‍ drank saliva and prepared to play.

The athletes did their homework 

‍and were ready to the game.

I spoke to my mom: “Mom I want 

‍the beautiful trophies 🏆, and 

‍medals 🏅”. My mother told me:

‍ “Now you can take a look, but you 

‍cannot have them until you work hard 

‍and become excellent in the future”.

At the competition venue, the games

‍ were in full swing, and the audience 

‍erupted in thunderous cheers from 

‍time to time. All eyes were on the 

‍exciting competitions and looking

‍the athletes.

There is no strangeness between 

‍each other, only the experience of
