Mr. Aiv Puglielli MP.
Their participation in the kick-off
ceremony not only increased the

The kick-off ceremony was full of
solemn and warm atmosphere. It is
not only a signal of the start of the
game, but also a manifestation of
tradition and culture, and at the
same time shows everyone the
unique charm of the sport.
The interaction between the junior
athletes and the Mayor of Wyndham,
Cr Dr Jennie Barrera, witnessed
this heart-warming and unforgettable
moment.
The warm moment turned into the
goal in the heart of this 7-year-old
athlete, the small ball was crossing
the table again and again, and then
arousing his enthusiasm once by once.
The intermingling of effort and love
often brings out
the most touching melodies.
Former Australia national team
member and five-time Australian
champion Ms Zhai Lan kicked
off the tournament.
The chief referee of the event announced the official start of the 2024 International Amateur Table Tennis Melbourne Cup.
Although he has a disability, he has a deep inner perseverance. His perseverance and unremitting efforts make his life colorful and full of vitality.
His experience tells us that as long as we have love in our hearts, we can create extraordinary things in the ordinary.
In the competition, he fought
tenaciously and won wonderful
moments for himself
with practical actions.
He made the most of his serve and
blocked left and right. The small
balls shuttle on the table like a
lightning speed, forming a
meteor-like scene line.
Men's Singles: Forehand smash,
fast and smooth, chic action,
violent smash opponent.
Men's Singles: Serve high and attack successfully.
Men's Singles: Every point scored is
a combination of speed, reflexes,
skills and intelligence.
Team Competition
Men's doubles require team spirit,
and the tacit understanding and
cooperation of the players.
In this men's doubles match, the
father and his 7-year-old son as
one team was playing against
the other paired-players. It was
destined to be a wonderful show.
In the team competitions, there was
a team of veterans. They were calm
and confident, dare to fight, and
fully embodied the spirit of veterans.
Team Competitions:
This was an interesting match
in which a teenage athlete played
against a 70-year-old athlete.
They looked at each other and
said in their heart, that victory
would be at my hand.
Regardless of sweat, they put their
full attention into the game. From
beginning to end, they moved
quickly, attacked and defended freely,
and tried their best towards their goal
with wits and courage.
Although I'm not an athlete, I wish
I could become a table tennis expert.
Because my grandfather liked
to play table tennis, I liked it too.
Today I am here to show my buddies
how to use this table tennis training
equipment.
Today, I am here to demonstrate
how to use this ping pong training
tool for my grandparents, uncles
and aunts, sisters and brothers on
the field. Please take care of me,
thank you!
Hayden Chen is a 7-year-old athlete.
His name has gone beyond being
a mere athlete and has become
a symbol of the spirit and pursuit
of table tennis.
During the game, he once fell behind
and cried sadly in his mother's arms.
After a slight adjustment, he picked
himself up, wiped away his tears,
and continued to swing his racket.
In the end, he won the runner-up
in the 7-10 age group, which fully
demonstrates his strength to pursue
his dreams without fear of challenges.
He has competed in many major
competitions, and his track records
are still fresh in our mind. Despite
his disability, he is a true powerhouse
who is never afraid of challenges.
A female player from China, her
unique atmosphere and humility
once again proved her extraordinary
charm of "The Return of the King".
He has mastered powerful service
skills. This ball was destined to
have an extraordinary effect.
He kept his eyes on the ball
and fought back.
He put down his body to a wright
position and powerfully looped the
ball with a strong stroke.
He looked directly at the ball and
admonished himself: Be calm, steady,
accurate and ruthless, and
win with one blow.
He first returned the ball with
poking skills, overcoming rigidity
with softness, and then took the
opportunity to bounce backhand.
He leaned sideways, his knee
slightly bent and threw a high toss
up with his left hand. When the
ball reached a high point and began
to slide down, he made a chopping
feint...... and then he sent a reverse
side spin ball.
During the competition, he always
maintained a high level of alertness
and agility, caught the change of
the opponent's serve, and reacted
quickly to create miracles by surprise.
He kept his eyes on the ball, turned
sideways, tucked his abdomen, and
turned around to send a backhand
sidespin ball, all in one go.
In the competition, he was always
highly alert and agile, able to catch
changes in opponents' serves at any
time and reacted quickly.
In the game, he showed his strength
and skill in a way that made it
impossible to beat him easily.
Every game he played, he looked
effortless, but in reality, he's a master
of ball controller. He hit every ball
with great precision.
At this time, he aimed at the table
tennis ball, flicked it back by
playing from the backhand.
In his eyes, table tennis no longer
seems to be a sport, but a part of
his life, depicting every ball
with his heart, so that each ball
has become a mark of his life journey.
With a high level of concentration
and quick reaction, he was able to
tackle a variety of challenges with ease.
His eyes are focused, his footwork
is flexible, he squatted down to lead
the shot and looped the ball towards
his opponent with steady accuracy.
His speed and difficult movements
are as incredible as a genius.
He bent down and turned sideways
and unleashed a beautiful downspin
ball in one turn.
Aimed at the opponent's weakness,
served and attacked, and hit the
key points to score.
Her calm swing seems to be
a wonderful conversation between
her and the years.
Her participation in the event is
not only a narrative of a girl's
brilliant achievements, but also
a warm chapter of her dreams,
perseverance and gratitude.
Intertwined with sweat and joy,
and wisdom and strength collide,
she completed a nice counteroffensive.
On the table tennis stage, she is
not only an athlete, but also a warrior.
With her sweat and tears, she
well explained what
true strength and courage are.
She was wearing a crisp blue
sportswear, wielding her racket
flexibly, her eyes focused on
the beating silver ball, stepping up
to rub the ball, pulling sideways
to attack, and hitting a winning
good ball. Her action was smooth
full of youthful vitality.
In her hands, the racket becomes
a work of art, and each ball was
captured and utilized to the extreme.
Calmly soothing the ball in her
hand, she jumped lightly and
delivered a powerful service.
The two 7-year-old athletes were
competing for the championship
and runner-up extremely fiercely.
Their every serve and every
counterattack made people's hearts
beat faster, nervous and exciting.
They looked at each other across
the net, and planned their own
strategies in their hearts.
One took a deep breath and pretended
to calm the turbulent heartbeat.
The other racked his brains to conceive
his tactics.
Aimed at the ping pong ball,
he successfully sent a backspin service.

🏓 The athletes had an unforgettable

world, bringing us more surprises
and touches.
Hi, award-winning 🏆 big brother,
I am so happy to present you
with this special award on behalf
of the Event Organizing Committee.
Although trophies 🏆, medals 🏅,
and red envelopes 🧧 cannot
express the full meaning of the event,
these rewards can at least express
our expectations, and the happy
times we shared these days!
The Organizing Committee sincerely
hopes that this full sense of ceremony
can make ordinary days interesting
and memorable. These warm moments
will stay in the hearts of children
and enrich their growth.
A child photographer and an athlete
are in the same frame
at the table tennis court.
The world is big, and I am small.
With you by my side, everything
is just right!
Many thanks to our youngest
photographer! Your camera is
not only just for beauty pictures,
but an upward spirit for happy life.
During the event, the smiles of the
referees were also the most beautiful
scenery. They showed their meticulous
demeanor in their respective
referee seats.
The scoreboard in the hands of
the referees is not simply a number,
but a record of the athletes' journey
and table tennis spirit in each game.
The referees are the best spectators.
With the expectations and love of
their families, these child athletes
with childish smiling faces came
to experience, practice, learn and
pursuit their dreams.
The young athletes gathered together,
drank saliva and prepared to play.
The athletes did their homework
and were ready to the game.
I spoke to my mom: “Mom I want
the beautiful trophies 🏆, and
medals 🏅”. My mother told me:
“Now you can take a look, but you
cannot have them until you work hard
and become excellent in the future”.

At the competition venue, the games
were in full swing, and the audience
erupted in thunderous cheers from
time to time. All eyes were on the
exciting competitions and looking
forward to a good result for their team.
The children also came to cheer for
the athletes.
There is no strangeness between
each other, only the experience of
this emotion and passion. It's this vibe
that made everyone experienced the
meaning of this international sport event.
Welcome your presence and many
thanks for your support!
Welcome to the event, a team

and great support.
Your coming brought us strength.
Group photo: This is not just
an ordinary group photo, it is more
like a vivid picture of the friendship
of ping pong lovers. In this picture,
we can feel the interweaving
of multiple themes such as
respect, love, inheritance and
hard work as well as the rich
connotation of the spirit of table tennis sport.
In this picture, we can also appreciate
the unique attraction of table tennis.
It can transcend the barriers of
age, identity and geography, and
bring people from different
backgrounds together.
Whether it is the elderly or
the young athletes, we can all
gather here because of our love
for table tennis sport.
It is our common understanding
of that table tennis not only
strengthens our body, but also
shapes our characters, and more
importantly, it gives birth to
countless moments that can
warm people's hearts.
It shows the generational inheritance
of table tennis sport, conveys the
endless vitality of Chinese culture,
highlights the close ties of cultural
diversity, and profoundly reveals
the unique charm of
table tennis players.
