2月17日（正月初八），几天来体力确实又些透支，但是让Vincent先生在中国度过新鲜愉快幸福的暂短假期，是战胜体力的强大精神力量，今天钿钿让我和宝云休息。钿钿带Vincent去西单图书大厦、逛西单商业步行街，晚上和中学同学相聚。

北京图书大厦:Vincent先生喜欢读书，专研历史，首先选择游览西单图书大厦：北京图书大厦位于西单路口东北侧，总建筑面积5万余平方米。北京图书大厦（北京图书大厦有限责任公司）是全国大型国有零售书店之一。是北京市国有书店中规模最大、经营品种最丰富、最早运用信息化技术和管理模式的旗舰书城。其始终保持市场领先地位的销售业绩和经营规模使北京图书大厦堪称全国“第一书城”。大厦1998年5月18日开业，是北京市的重点文化设施、北京图书大厦经营上以图书和音像制品为主，兼以各类文化产品为辅的多元化经营为特色。对图书出版物实行全门类、全品种经营，出版物陈列品种已达约33万种，可以较好的展示我国出版发行业的整体风貌。25000平米的营业面积全部采用开放售书方式，一至四层分别经营社会科学图书、少儿读物和文学艺术类图书、文化教育类图书及音像制品和科学技术类图书，并于2004年4月在地下一层开设了原版销售区。

2月18日正月初九,下午全家人陪Vincent游览恭王府，北京什刹海核心保护区的烟袋斜街、前海、后海、鼓楼，乘坐了三轮车体验了老北京的风情，品尝了卤煮、水煎包、牛肉串、灌肠、冰糖葫芦等老北京的风味小吃。
晚上回来后，时间很紧张的收拾行李，匆匆忙忙的送Vincent到首都机场，乘坐班机回国。文森的中华省亲之行圆满结束！

恭王府萃锦园内有一座太湖石假山，山脚下有个秘云洞，洞府正中央石壁上有一座康熙御笔的福字碑。恭王府福字碑号称“天下第一福源”

游览北京什刹海：什刹海，是北京市历史文化旅游风景区、北京市历史文化保护区。位于市中心城区西城区，毗邻北京城中轴线。水域面积33.6万平方米，与中南海水域一脉相连，是北京内城一处具有开阔水面的开放型景区，也是北京城内面积最大、风貌保存最完整的一片历史街区，在北京城规划建设史上占有独特的地位。什刹海包括前海、后海和西海（又称积水潭）三个水域及临近地区，与“前三海”相呼应，俗称“后三海”。什刹海也写作“十刹海”，四周原有十座佛寺，故有此称。清代起就成为游乐消夏之所，为燕京胜景之一。什刹海景区的不少古建筑在北京城市建设发展史上及政治文化史上占有重要地位，主要代表有恭王府及花园、宋庆龄故居及醇王府、郭沫若纪念馆、钟鼓楼、德胜门箭楼、广化寺、汇通祠、会贤堂。
