Once upon a time,in far away China,there was a girl named Hua Mulan.One day,the country needed her father to fight.Mulan was very worried,because her father was very old and in poor health.What could she do?Suddenly,she had an idea! If she disguised herself a man,isn't the problem solved? So,Mulan decided to join the army in his place.
Mulan cut off her long hair,wore boy' clothes and put a hat.When Mulan arrived at the army camp,she trained hard with her fellow soldiers.She was very brave and very smart, she led the troops to win many battles and her fellow soldiers all admired her abilities.
This war was fought for 12 years,finally, when it was over,Mulan came back with victory. The emperor gave her many rewards, but she didn't want any of them."Thank you for your kindness, but I just want to go back to my hometown and get together with my family," she said with a smile.
When Mulan returned home, took off her military uniform and put on her old clothes, her comrades realized that she was a girl. But they were not angry. Instead, they admired her even more because Mulan was so brave and strong.
Although Mulan's story may be fictional, her bravery, wariness and selfless dedication have inspired countless Chinese children and are symbols of national spirit. We'll all remember her forever!
