Let’s Talk (LT)
Our let’s talk topic of the week is “Animals on the farm”. We have explored different animals that live on the farm and we have learned the names of their baby animals. We have also practiced few adjectives and plural names.
Montessori Materials
1.Animals on the farm
Small group students can use this material by matching the animals to their shadows and name the animals.
Big group students can use this material by matching the animals ti their shadows and practice the sentence “The rooster 🐓 lives on the farm.”
2.Pink Series
Students can use this work to practice their phonics. They can use it to practice all short vowel sounds by:
- matching the objects to the words
- filling the missing letters
- spelling the words (objects)
- reading the CVC words.

Phonics 🆎 and Writing ✍🏻
The middle group students have reviewed -a- and -e- sounds. And did more practice on distinguishing the two sounds. They have also reviewed J-R sounds by completing worksheets.
The big group students have learned the ending sounds -ip, -it and -ix by completing a worksheet.
