2017年1月21日下午，农历小年刚过，咸阳市初中英语名师工作室两位专家名师刘娟老师和姚莹老师就带领全体工作室成员齐聚我市渭城区第二初级中学，摆起教学擂台---青年教师的说课大赛，迎接新年。
On the afternoon of Jan.21,2017,after the Chinese lunar year（小年）,the two English workshops of Xianyang got together at No.2 Junior High School of Weicheng District ,led by the lead teachers Juan Liu ﹠ Ying Yao. An English Interpretation contest started the teaching challenge to welcome the new year！

本次活动，评委都是荣获过省级英语教学能手称号的优秀教师，选手是两个工作室培养的14位青年老师；说课比赛的内容来自初中英语七年级教材；要求用英语说课，以及关于校本研修的现场答辩；6分钟内介绍教学目标、教学过程、教学方法和板书设计等。The judges of the contest are all honored with the name of provincial teachers. Fourteen contestants are chosen from two workshops, who presented their best English basic skills, such as speaking skill, well class-organized ability, and excellent personal impression. The contents were chosen from the textbook of Grade 7 ,each contestant first described their teaching materials ,teaching aims, procedures ,blackboard design, and so on ,and then gave a reply to the question about school-based research in English.

活动中，每位选手都向评委们展示了其精心设计的说课内容。在整个说课比赛中，这些参赛老师口语流利，富有激情，思路清晰，精彩纷呈，奉献了一份新春大礼---咸阳今日英语教学璀璨盛宴！在短短几分钟时间里，每位选手表现了优秀的基本素质和综合能力，现场不时爆发出热烈的掌声。
In the contest, each contestant did quite well, with fluent oral English, great passion, active teaching approaches, etc. We are excited that the 14 charming teachers sent us a feast of English teaching representing of the whole city teachers for the coming spring festival. During the 6 minutes, on the hall we gave the contestants warm and hearty rounds of applause.

激动人心的时刻到了， 大赛颁奖环节，来自姚莹工作室的王纯老师和来自刘娟工作室的张娅老师荣获了本次大赛的一等奖。
Next，It's the most exciting moment, the judges presented the awards to all of the contestants, Miss Wang Chun from Yao Ying workshop and Miss Zhang Ya from Liu Juan workshop won the first prizes. Congratulations!
在比赛后，工作室邀请二位省级教学能手黄平老师和亢寒青老师做点评嘉宾，两位老师侃侃而谈，提出中肯的建议并分享自己的说课经历。
After the presentation, Mr. Huang Ping and Mr. Kang Hanqing were invited to give some comments and shared their experiences with all the contestants.

姚莹老师担任主持，并做最后总结，语言幽默亲切，肯定了参赛者们各自的优点，并祝愿每位参赛者通过这次活动，不断提高自己，在今后英语教学中越做越好.
Ms Yao was the hostess of the contest, she also shared her idea about the contest. First she praised the competitors with her humorous and kind words. and then wish each of them will try the best to improve themselves step by step .

刘娟老师希望通过本次比赛，让我们不仅对英语课堂的教学设计和英语说课流程有了全面、清晰的了解，这一活动也使得每位青年教师发现了自己的专业发展中的优势与不足，明确今后前进与努力的方向，在今日的不完美中实现英语教学的完美!
Ms Liu summarized the competition.Ms Liu spoke highly of each contestant for their high spirits of dedication and great passion. At the same time, she expected we all could make more progress in English teaching after the contest, and got to learn that the beauty of imperfection is the true perfection.

结束语，借用刘娟老师的一段话作为对我今后教学的鞭策，也送给工作室的老师们：
This is a platform which helps us to learn, to make friends and to perfect ourselves. (学习的舞台， 交友的舞台， 成长的舞台！)。
