What is Sky Farm?

Through the explanation of the tour guide, we learned that the original sky farm was called Green Roof. A green roof is a building with a waterproof structure where the roof is partially or completely covered. Green roofs can extend the service life of buildings, reduce building energy consumption, improve urban heat island effect, reduce rainwater runoff and so on. In recent years, with the development of science and technology and the renewal of concepts, there have been green roofs combining stormwater management, and roofs combining agricultural production and green roofs have emerged in recent years. The "Sky Farm" we are visiting today is a combination of new green roofs and farms.
The history of Tomatoes
