This week was all about the Weather. The children always talk about weather and it is one of the easiest conversation starters. The children were surprised about the weather because we used a previous topic to help with our discussion. The children got to see weather on other planets. Let’s dive in to this amazing week.
天气千变万化，我们生活的环境中，有各种各样的天气，气候与我们的生活息息相关，本周，孩子们认识了各种变化的天气 ，了解天气和我们的关系，把爱自然的情感和习惯播种在孩子们的童年中。
Montessori: The weather dictates how we do our work. When it is sunny, the children tend to do more work. But cloudy weather, makes the children take their time. The class has many books to help the children understand the weather. The children want to make exciting work to make up for the lack of sunny days.
班级里有很多描述天气的书籍，气象三段卡等，孩子们忙于探索各种各样的天气。每个孩子做着不同的工作，每个孩子专注于自己选择的工作，弥漫着投入专注的气氛，通过不断操作孩子们得到了自己求知的满足。
Theme: Our theme was Weather. The children were surprised that the weather is not as mysterious as it seems. The children also found that the weather can change how we feel. Even though they know the weather names, they didn’t know the many types of weather. How extreme it could be and how delicate it can be. The children know how to ask (how’s the weather?) and can sing it too.
本周，我们的主题是天气，我们学习了天气的英文主题词汇，观察了地球上天气的变化，天气与我们生活的联系，一起哼唱了天气歌，孩子们也知道如何询问天气状况，在轻松愉快的氛围中探索天气变化。
Phonics: This week we studied the letter X. This letter does not have a lot of words that are nouns. Instead it has more verbs. This is fun because we can use the words in funny ways. The big students got to do the OB combination to make words.
本周，我们进入了自然拼读X的学习，阅读Letter X的小书，哼唱Letter X 的字母歌，学习letter x 相关词汇，创作了字母手工，孩子们对letter x有了深入的了解。大组小朋友进入了OB的拼读学习，孩子们学习拼读单词，阅读绘本等，希望孩子们在家也要持之以恒的练习。
Outdoor: The children had plenty of time to play. The weather made it a bit more difficult to play outside but the children can play inside. The children don’t mind playing so long as they can all play together. Their happy faces tell the whole story.
天气变化万千，孩子们的幼儿园生活还是缤纷多彩的。简单的游戏是孩子快乐的源泉。运动，是孩子的天然情绪调节。运动不单单提升大脑认知能力，还可以帮助孩子保持一个好的心情，周末在家也带领孩子们运动起来吧🥰
Field Trip: We went to a park near the Daxing district. The children were tired from all the walking but they enjoyed every moment of the time. It was so amazing to see the children have fun and be exposed to so much fun activities while being together with the school.
