Good morning everyone! I am very grateful to every family member in the group. We are destined to meet from afar, and we are destined to learn and practice together in a group. This is a very special fate. Today, I want to chat with everyone. The topic I want to talk about today is: what is heart.
What is "heart"? The first thing people often think of is our heart. But in fact, this is not our true intention. Where is our sincerity? Those who have read the Shurangama Sutra know that in the conversation between Shakyamuni Buddha and Ananda, we have revealed the true heart. Our heart is just a small part of our sincerity. So what is our sincerity? Where is it? How to find it again? In fact, our sincerity is everywhere, always present, covering all time and space in the Ten Methods Realm, Three Generations. But if you want to find it, it's difficult to find it. Therefore, it is also called: Tathagata hiding! That is to say, the meaning of the Tathagata hiding is that it is hidden and ordinary people cannot find it. If you find it, congratulations! You will become enlightened and have a clear understanding.
The twelve scriptures of the Three Tripitaka mentioned in the Buddhist scriptures are actually all about this true heart, which is also the Buddha's heart, the good heart, and the Tathagata. How do we find this true heart? Actually, there's no need to search. It always exists, it doesn't come or go, it doesn't give birth or die, it's always here. It's just that everyone is hindered by various greed, anger, ignorance, slow suspicion, resentment, anger, and annoyance, unable to find it, unable to see it. It's like this true heart is a mirror, but this mirror is covered with various dust and dirt. So people don't look like a mirror anymore, it looks like a mud lump or contaminated dirt. The function of a mirror and all its virtues cannot be revealed.
This is the record in Buddhist scriptures that requires us to eliminate greed, anger, ignorance, slow doubt, resentment, anger, self attachment, and Dharma attachment, in order to achieve a state of four emptiness and four nothingness. Why do you say that? In fact, it is to let us remove all the dust and dirt on our mirror, which is called cultivation. After being cleaned, this mirror is spotless, and our sincerity is revealed.
Nowadays, there are many people who study theory, speak theory, and understand theory. However, those who have achieved practical success are often rare and rare. Why? This is like people knowing that Buddha is human, human is Buddha, Buddha is awakened, fully enlightened, and human is an awakened Buddha; I also know that we need to clean this mirror, remove people's greed, anger, ignorance, slowness, suspicion, resentment, anger, and annoyance, remove self attachment,and Dharma attachment, and achieve four emptiness and four nothingness. People understand these principles, but how many people can truly do them when they actually do them? In fact, the difference between Buddhas and humans is whether they believe or not, practice or not, and whether it is true practice or false practice.
At this point in time and space, it is already very urgent! We don't have a lot of time and opportunities for everyone anymore, and now we only have one word: do it! We don't do it, we don't do it, we don't clean our own mirror, we don't remove greed, anger, ignorance, and doubt, we don't remove resentment, anger, and annoyance, we don't remove self attachment and Dharma attachment, and we don't achieve four emptiness and four nothingness. So, who will help you clean this mirror? When can you become a Buddha? Since our group is a holistic awakening group and a universal group, first of all, we need to wipe our own mirror clean and spotless before we can go to the universal community.
Since everyone has some understanding of Buddhist scriptures, some practitioners even have a deep understanding of Buddhist scriptures. We should start moving, as our leader told us, roll up your sleeves and work hard! Only through practical work can we prosper the country, and only through practical work can we achieve success.
It is said that cultivating and cultivating one's heart and mind, being good and kind, cultivates our heart. I believe the most fundamental first principle is to cultivate our good heart, a kind heart, a virtuous heart, and a compassionate heart. It is the most fundamental and important aspect of achieving positive results! Good heart is Buddha, good heart is Living Bodhisattva, and good heart is Living Buddha and Living Bodhisattva living in the world. When we cultivate this heart with kindness and compassion, our future path will become closer and closer to our goals and the other side. This is the foundation. Just like building a high-rise building to lay the foundation. Without this foundation, everything would be in vain.
"Damoxi comes without a single word, he works hard solely based on his heart" means our sincerity. If we all find this sincerity, find this Tathagata treasure, understand the principle of one mind and three treasures, and apply it to our work, life, study, and interpersonal relationships. We are doing Buddha, we are doing universal salvation for all beings. The first principle of universal salvation for all beings is to be self enlightened and have a clear understanding of one's own nature. Then we need to cross ourselves before we can cross him. What is Buddha? It is a person who consciously perceives his actions to be perfect.
So, our sincerity is something that everyone has, and even all living beings have this sincerity, which is the Buddha's heart, this kind heart, this virtuous heart, this compassionate heart, this great love heart, and the selfless heart. With this sincerity, we can achieve perfect wisdom in doing things. When we have perfect wisdom, we can see the essence of any person, thing, or object without being deceived by appearances.
Let's all hold hands together, shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart. We are all one family, one family, one collective, one whole, and all things are one. Let's all work hand in hand and move forward together, it's just one word: dry! How to do it? Serve the people wholeheartedly! We love our motherland, our CPC, our leaders and our Chinese nation. We are descendants of loong, loving our people, loving all living beings, completely sprinkling our great love towards humanity, the earth, and everything!
