(1)Make a list

M: the Spring Festival is coming. I am going to have a 8-days-holiday for spring festival. So how about we going spring festival shopping after dinner? Finish your dinner as quickly as you can!

M: First we should make a shopping list. Go get me a piece of paper and a pencil. Let's make the shopping list together. OK, what do we need to buy for the spring festival?

J: 春联

M: That's the most important thing for spring festival, however I have bought the spring couplets already online. I think we should buy some apples. In Chinese, we say苹果 which means 平平安安 that is quite important for all of us.

M: Safe. It means that we will be safe for the next year.

And we can buy some tangerines. 桔子，in Chinese, it can stand for 大吉大利.

J: 什么是大吉大利？

M: I think it can mean everything will be OK, and we will be lucky all the time.

How about buying some snacks? We can enjoy the snacks when watching the TV.

J: OK.

M: Some juice?

J: Yes! I like orange juice.

M: And we need nuts for spring festival. And sweet dumplings汤圆,too!Then we can buy some yogurt.

Milk and yogurt are kept in the fridge because they can easily go bad at room temperature.

D: I want to buy some milk to make the yogurt by myself.
