The recorded history can be traced back to 3000 years ago, and it is known as the "Museum of Ancient Chinese Culture". Today, I will introduce to you the eight scenic spots worth visiting in Shanxi.

Mount Wutai
Mount Wutai is the only Buddhist temple in China where the Qingmiao Temple and Huangmiao Temple coexist. Buddhists from Mongolia and Tibet have worshipped all the Buddhist temples in Mount Wutai and visited the five peaks to offer Buddhas and pray in person, forming a fixed route and schedule, which is called "Dachaotai".
Shuxiang Temple
Situated in the southwest corner of Taihuai Town, Mount Wutai, Shuxiang Temple, together with Xiantong Temple, Bodhisattva Summit, Tayuan Temple and Luodang Temple, is known as the "Five Great Zen Places" of Mount Wutai, and is a key cultural relics protection unit in Shanxi Province.
Longquan Temple
On the east side of the temple, there is a mountain spring. It is said that there were nine dragons doing evil here in the past. Manjushri Bodhisattva used magic to suppress them at the foot of the mountain, so this temple is called Longquan Temple.
Qiao's Grand Courtyard
The architectural style of the Qing Dynasty covers an area of 9140 square meters, but the well preserved ancient buildings can only be completed in just over an hour without listening to the explanation on the middle line, surrounded by newly built modern houses
Jin Temple
Long ago, this place was called "Tang" and was the fiefdom of Shu Yu. Later, to commemorate the feudal lords who governed water conservancy, the Tang Shu Yu Temple appeared.
Pingyao Ancient City
One of the only ancient cities in China that has fully preserved the urban landscape of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The total length of the ancient city is about 6.4 kilometers, and the most famous is the beautiful night scenery of the "County Government" and "Escort Agency" in the ancient city. There is plenty of time to stay overnight.
